Dr Annie Shek, Cert Adult Psychiatrist

Dr Annie Shek BSc Hons MBBS, FRANZCP is a consultant psychiatrist with over 20 years clinical experience. She is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Dr Shek is qualified in CertPI5Psych, CertPIRS and GEPI, and trained in the use of AMA5.

In addition to her medico-legal work, Dr Shek works in adult psychiatry. She has experience in public and private practice and has a broad range of experience with mood disorders, ADHD and Autism, and Intellectual Disability. She is experienced in both medication interventions and psychotherapies.

Dr Shek consults at our Bowen Hills office in person, via telephone and via videolink.

Dr Shek is able to provide complex independent medico-legal reports for Queensland motor vehicle claims, public liability matters, workers’ compensation matters, superannuation claims, trauma and abuse related claims and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) reports.
