Dr Mei Lee BMedSc. (Hons), MBBS, FRANZCP is a multilingual psychiatrist with a special interest in transcultural mental health, depression and anxiety.

She has expertise in addiction, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, cognitive behavioural therapy, depression, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, obsessive-compulsive disorders, pain management, personality disorders, psychosis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, supportive psychotherapy, complex trauma and prolonged grief.

Dr Lee has previously worked as a Staff Specialist (High Dependency Unit) at Logan Hospital as well as holding an Associate Lecturer role with the University of Queensland.  She is now in private clinical practice in Brisbane.

She is fluent in and able to conduct complex examinations in Mandarin and Cantonese, as well as English, without the assistance of an interpreter.

Outside of work Dr Lee enjoys cooking, baking, arts and crafts, singing/performing, self-pampering routines and spending time with my family.
