Dr Michelle Caudwell MBBS, FRACS ORTHO, BCH NURS, DIP ANAT, is an empathetic Orthopaedic Surgeon and Upper Limb Specialist with over 14 years of clinical experience. Her practice specialises in the treatment of complex shoulder and elbow conditions, in addition to general hand and traumatic injuries. She is an Upper Limb Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Dr Caudwell began her career as a nurse before undertaking her medical internship and rotations in many of the major hospitals in Victoria, Tasmania, and New South Wales. She then relocated to Queensland. She now works as the Director of Orthopaedics at Redcliffe Hospital, where she enjoys a busy clinical practice, including mentoring and training junior doctors. 

Dr Caudwell will assess all orthopaedic injuries and is recommended for hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder injuries. She consults in Brisbane and Redcliffe.

Dr Caudwell is qualified to provide complex independent medico-legal reports for motor vehicle accidents in QLD, ACT, TAS, NT, and WA; workers’ compensation matters in QLD and NT; Public Liability matters in QLD, ACT, NT, TAS, WA, and SA; and Comcare, Superannuation, and DVA matters nationally.
