Dr Peter Wheatley MBBS (UNSW), Grad Dip Sports Med (UNSW), FRANZCP is a Psychiatrist with over 15 years experience. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). Dr Wheatley works in Brisbane as a consultant in the private sector. Dr Whealtley served in the Army for over 30 years, including deployments to Rwanda and Boungainville and he appeared as an expert witness at the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide.

Dr Wheatley’s interest and expertise are in military psychiatry, DVA / veteran’s mental health, PTSD, mood and anxiety disorders and has a variety of publications on a variety of topics relating to military medicine.
