Dr Pradeep Singhal MBBS, DPM (London), MRCPsych (UK), FRCPysch (UK), FRANZCP, GEPI, CIR, ACIME, is a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist with over four decades’ experience in the UK and Australia. 

He is a Fellow of the UK Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and is admitted to the Faculty of Adult Psychiatry of the RANZCP. He presently works in Brisbane as a director and senior consultant of a mental health service in the public sector and a senior consultant in the private sector.

Pradeep’s interest and expertise are in general adult psychiatry. He has over 30 years of experience undertaking medico-legal work in Australia and the UK and is regularly involved in criminal and civil matters as well as mental health review tribunals.

Pradeep is fluent in and able to conduct complex examinations in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and English without the assistance of an interpreter.

Dr Singhal personally consults in Brisbane and Cairns. Dr Singhal is available to take video exams across Australia.

Dr Singhal is qualified to provide complex independent medico-legal reports for motor vehicle injuries in Queensland, ACT, Tasmania, Western Australia and Northern Territory; for Public Liability matters, including Institutional Abuse, in Queensland, ACT, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia and Northern Territory; for workers compensation matters in Queensland (including GEPI), Tasmania, and Northern Territory; and Comcare, Superannuation, and DVA matters nationally.
